Stuie's Diner Reviews
Went here with my family; the food and service was amazing, and we had a few good laughs at some of the sayings on the signs. Overall 10/10, definitely will come again
This place was absolutely fantastic!!!! Great prices, amazing service and the vibe is an amazing retro theme. We dined here for the first time and the place was packed, we had to sit at a small table, as soon as a large table was available our server offered to move us. The prices are great and the food was yummy and felt like it was made with love (unlike most franchises that just reheat frozen food...). I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in town again. I wish my town had a place like this!
As a traveller, this is a must stop- a classic 50s vibe, beautiful and funny ladies on service, and a true blue Dawson Creek ol' bird slingin' patties. Great experience, great chats, great time.
Such a fun place and we accidentally came across it! The decor is fun, the waitress we had was so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Their fries are really great. We will definitely stop here again and can’t recommend it enough.
Great diner with awesome customer service. Stopped for a quick bite to eat and was happily satisfied.
Stuie's Diner – A Nostalgic Bite of Comfort with a Few Minor Bumps I visited Stuie’s Diner on a bustling Saturday afternoon, and it was clear from the moment I walked in that this place is no hidden gem—nearly every seat was taken, and both the kitchen and bar were alive with activity. Yet, despite the crowd, I was promptly welcomed and shown to a free table without delay. Within just a few minutes, a server was ready to take my order. Following the house recommendation, I opted for the strawberry milkshake and strawberry pie with cream. My order arrived within 5–10 minutes, impressively quick considering the packed house. The pie was a standout—balanced sweetness, a well-baked crust, and a delightfully soft, flavorful filling. The milkshake matched the pie in quality, boasting a rich, creamy strawberry flavor that hit all the right nostalgic notes. The atmosphere of Stuie’s is one of its strongest assets. It carries a classic, traditional diner vibe, with a clientele that matches—friendly, laid-back, and seemingly loyal. The setting evokes a sense of home-cooked meals and familiar comfort. As for drawbacks, there were two that stood out. First, the straw for the milkshake was too narrow for the thickness of the drink, making it slightly frustrating to enjoy. Second, parking is clearly insufficient on weekends, which could be an issue for many potential guests. Verdict: Stuie’s Diner offers a warm, inviting slice of Americana with quality food and fast service, though a few practical improvements—especially regarding parking and drinkware—would elevate the experience further. Still, for anyone seeking a traditional diner with heart, this place delivers.
Can’t even begin to tell you how cool this place is the food is awesome. Literally same price as any fast food but you get real diner burgers!! Staff is literally the best. Thank you Jessica. Bring back the 50s
Stuie's Diner is a stroll back through the Golden era of diners and Rock n Roll! Decor is a photo opp of precisely what you'd hope to see complete with a corner dedicated to Elvis! Service is swift yet servers are socialable! Fabulous food, BUT the shakes ( they use soda water!?!) DIVINE! Yup, so worth popping by if the 50s and 60s are your kinda thing!
